Oakland Athletics announcer Ray Fosse completely owned Diamondbacks pitcher Kevin Ginkel after he gave up a three-run homer to Jed Lowrie.

Ray Fosse is loved by Oakland Athletics fans everywhere and he just added to his popularity in a big way on Tuesday. In a showdown between the A’s and Diamondbacks, the Oakland announcer went ahead and delivered one of the calls of the year thus far.

With Jed Lowrie at the dish, Arizona hurler Kevin Ginkel was slowing down the pace of the game in absurd fashion, checking the card in his hat multiple times before firing off a delivery. Well, Ginkel gave up a three-run blast to Lowrie and Fosse let him hear all about it in the best way possible.

Ray Fosse calling out Arizona pitcher Kevin Ginkel was a total thing of beauty

With one swing of the bat, Lowrie went ahead and tied things up at 5-5. To make things even better for the Oakland faithful, Fosse didn’t hesitate in telling Ginkel to “look at your card again!” with plenty of passion. Seriously, that’s a callout A’s supporters are going to be talking about for quite some time.

Thus far in 2020, it’s been a bit of a rough start for the Athletics. The team entered Tuesday’s showdown with Arizona holding a 4-7 record. Meanwhile, they’ve watched Houston and the LA Angels begin 2021 pretty darn hot.

Oakland took home the AL West title last season and was hoping to repeat as champs this year too. In order for that to happen, they’ll need to turn things around here. However, with more bombs from Lowrie and incredible calls from Fosse, folks in the Bay Area will have no doubt this club will be ready to compete for another pennant later this campaign.
