Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant named the top five teammates he’s ever played with in his NBA career.

Kevin Durant has been in the NBA for nearly 15 seasons, spanning across the Seattle SuperSonics, Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors and now the Brooklyn Nets. Considering the amount of talent Durant has played with on all of those squads, many are wondering who he considers to be the best.

During an appearance on the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game Podcast,” Durant provided his top five best teammates of all time in descending order. Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook and Klay Thompson crack Durant’s list.

Kevin Durant lists his top five teammates he’s ever played with

Not the most shocking list of players, if we are being perfectly honest. Initially, Durant unintentionally left out Westbrook and placed Serge Ibaka on the list. But when he was reminded of Westbrook, Durant acknowledged his mistake and slated the guard between Curry and Thompson for fourth on the list.

Irving has been a teammate of Durant’s for the past two seasons, as they signed lucrative contracts with the Nets in that loaded 2019 free agency class. As for Harden, the two initially played three seasons together on the Thunder before he was traded to the Houston Rockets in 2012. Nearly nine years later, the two reunited after the Nets acquired Harden in a blockbuster four-team trade including the Indiana Pacers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Rockets.

Westbrook and Durant played alongside one another in Oklahoma City from 2008 until 2016, when Durant opted to sign with the Warriors in free agency.

Speaking of the Warriors, Durant found great success teaming up with Curry and Thompson. The super-team made three-straight NBA Finals together, where they won two Larry O’Brien Trophies. Additionally, Durant won the NBA Finals MVP for two consecutive years (2017-18).

It just goes to show the great players Durant has teamed up with over the years. Sorry, Serge Ibaka, you just missed out on making the list. But hey, you may very well make Durant’s top 10!
