Now that Jake Paul improved his boxing record to 2-0 with a first-round KO of Ben Askren, the former YouTube star eyes his next opponent in the ring.

Jake Paul had no trouble with Ben Askren during Saturday’s Triller Fight Club main event, knocking out the MMA fighter in the first round.

Now, Paul considers his options for his next fight where he’ll look to remain undefeated.

The most likely opponent for Paul is entrepreneur-turned-boxer Joe Fournier who is coming off a TKO of reggaeton artist Reykon in the opening fight for Triller Fight Club’s fight card on Saturday.

Fournier made sure to get Paul’s attention ahead of his fight with Askren with some pointed words in his post-fight interview.

“It just kind of came out naturally,” Fournier said about the finish. “I wanted four or five rounds to get my feet back under me honestly. Everyone knows I’d love Jake Paul next.”

Some intriguing names beyond Fournier are among the potential foes that Paul could meet in the ring.

Tyson Fury’s half-brother Tom Fury could be the top option if a fight can’t be worked out with Fournier.

Paul has been called out by a number of MMA fighters, including Dillon Danis who had a profane message for him on Twitter and is ready to sign a contract to make the fight happen.

A few MMA fighters with much higher profiles are also among those rumored to be opponents for Paul’s next fight, including BJ Penn, Conor McGregor, Tyron Woodley and Nate Diaz.

I wouldn’t hold your breath for a fight taking place in the near future with any of those four, however.

But the ultimate longshot for Paul’s next opponent is Floyd Mayweather. While it would do big pay-per-view numbers to be sure, there’s little motivation for Mayweather to put his reputation on the line for a paycheck.
