Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman ran a 4.22 40-yard dash this week and it’s incredible to see.

Who is the fastest man in the NFL? That’s a question everyone wants to know. While several contenders have emerged, there’s no question that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman is a true contender.

This week, Hardman ran the 40-yard dash and posted a time of 4.22. While this wasn’t a “race,” Hardman beat out several other NFL stars. Tyreek Hill wasn’t among them, but Chiefs fans will still love seeing the clip below.

Blink and you’ll miss Hardman flying down the field. In the video above, he really showcased his incredible speed. It’s what makes him such a dangerous threat on the gridiron for the Chiefs. You’ve almost got to feel bad for opposing defensive backs.

With Mahomes throwing him the pigskin, the two are able to hook up for some big plays. The expectation is that will most definitely continue this fall. In terms of racing, imagine seeing Hill and Hardman facing off? Who would win?

It’d make for must-see television. Heck, let’s get DK Metcalf to join things as well here. Then we’d really have something. For the Chiefs, they feature two of the fastest receivers in the game, one of the best tight ends and the richest quarterback in NFL history. For 2021, they’re the favorites to win the Super Bowl.

With Mahomes’ rocket for an arm, the offense will be ready to take things to new levels. You better believe Hardman will be ready to record some touchdowns, while also showcasing his blazing speed every chance he gets starting in Week 1.
