No official venue has been announced as of yet.
The bout will be broadcasted on pay-per-view and promoted by Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions (PBC), who Pacquiao has worked with multiple times previously and Spence’s promoter.
Manny Pacquiao, Errol Spence Jr. set to battle on Aug. 21 in Las Vegas for Spence’s IBF and WBC welterweight titles.
As noted by Coppinger in a follow-up tweet, Pacquiao had previously been in talks with WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford and his promoter, Bob Arum’s Top Rank, over the past year. However, that fight ended up not coming to fruition, and that’s when Spence and PBC struck.
When Terence Crawford-Manny Pacquiao collapsed, PBC immediately made efforts to match Errol Spence with Manny. And they got it done https://t.co/pYGJS7lOxA

In his last fight, at the age of 40, Pacquiao dropped Keith Thurman en route to a decision win to become the WBA (Super) welterweight champion, becoming the oldest welterweight champion in the history of boxing.
Pacquiao was stripped of the WBA title in January due to inactivity.
Spence defended the IBF and WBC 147-pound titles in December, scoring a unanimous decision win over Danny Garcia.
It was Spence’s first fight since being involved in a serious October 2019 automobile accident.
The accident came just a couple of weeks after Spence defeated Shawn Porter in a highly entertaining title unification bout to win the WBC welterweight title.
Spence has been the IBF champ since knocking out Kell Brook in late May 2017.
