Jimmy Butler blows by Giannis Antetokounmpo for clutch layup to force overtime (Video)

Jimmy Butler forced overtime for the Miami Heat against the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1.
Butler was 3-for-18 for the game before that bucket, in which he got around the reigning Defensive Player of the Year in Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks’ help defense got there far too late, leaving Jimmy Buckets to do what he does best — leave a difficult shooting day in the past and make a clutch bucket when his team needs him most.
In his playoff career, Butler is 6-of-9 on game-tying or go-ahead field goals. This is just another notch in his belt.
The Bucks help defense came late in the form of Brook Lopez, and Butler was able to flip the ball off the backboard with just enough spin and cache to land.
Giannis and Bucks survive late Heat wave
In the end, the Bucks were able to survive overtime to take Game 1 at home. While Antetokounmpo’s free throw shooting has to be concerning to coach Mike Budenholzer, the same came be said for the Heat and Butler’s poor shooting as a whole.
Jrue Holiday is going to be a problem from the Heat point of view defensively this entire season. Holiday was consistently in Butler’s face, including on the final shot of the game.
With a shot at redemption, the Bucks are one step towards paydirt.
