NBA Twitter went through a whirlwind of emotion after Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul went down injured against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Whether you are a Suns fan, a Lakers fan who appreciates true competition or just a basketball fan watching the playoffs for love of the sport, watching Chris Paul writhe in pain during Game 1 between Phoenix and Los Angeles was tough.

The veteran guard fell and appeared to hurt seriously hurt his shoulder during the second quarter. When he left the court NBA Twitter held their breath.

The players on both teams were worried about their fellow pro.
