The Boston Celtics don’t care about the scoreline. At this point, it’s all about getting in Kevin Durant’s head for Game 3 in Beantown.

24 points wasn’t enough of a deficit for the Celtics to play things out until they got to the locker room. Nope, give Brad Stevens’ group credit, they play until the final whistle, even if they have no chance at victory.

This included a scuffle between Evan Fournier and Kevin Durant. A war of words between the two nearly turned ugly until some teammates stepped in between the two.

Durant wasn’t about to get in a fistfight with Fournier, but he also wouldn’t let a scrub who was (checks notes) -11 at the time of the incident get in his way of enjoying an easy victory.

NBA Playoffs: Brooklyn Nets in control heading into Game 3

The Nets hold a 2-0 lead for a reason, as they’ve thoroughly dominated about 1.5 games of this series so far. A tough first half in Game 1 getting their feet wet doesn’t really count as struggles from where I’m sitting.

A trip to Boston makes for an interesting storyline heading into Game 3. Boston must steal a game to stay alive in the playoffs and, quite frankly, avoid embarrassment.
