In some good news for the Green Bay Packers, Jeopardy! fans want Ken Jennings to be the next full-time host and not Aaron Rodgers.

This may be the big break Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst was hoping for, and it’s Jeopardy! related? It sure is. A recent study has found that Jeopardy! fans are hoping for Ken Jennings to be the next host to replace the one and only Alex Trebek.

Aaron Rodgers, still furious with the front office, made some guest appearances and rumors have swirled he’d consider taking over the job if he indeed steps away from the game. As things stand, Jennings is the preferred host, though.

Jeopardy! fans would rather see Ken Jennings become the new host over Aaron Rodgers

A recent study by Civic Science has indeed shown that Jennings is the man who people want. For Rodgers, could this actually increase his chances of suiting up for Green Bay come Week 1? Who knows. At the end of the day, it’s on Gutekunst to try and repair this relationship.

Earlier this month, Rodgers opened up to Kenny Mayne on ESPN and made it clear he’s got nothing but love for all of his teammates, including 2020 first-round pick Jordan Love. His beef is with the executives. Something’s got to change in order for Rodgers to be happy, as he doesn’t believe in the team’s philosophy moving forward.

After he took home MVP honors this past season, it’d be a major bummer if Rodgers decides to either retire or just sit out the 2021 campaign come this fall. If he does sit out, a stint as Jeopardy! host may not be in the cards. He’d potentially have to find something else to do to stay busy.
