How to watch NBA Playoffs: What channel is Suns vs. Lakers Game 5 on?
The Phoenix Suns-Los Angeles Lakers first-round series heads back to Arizona on Tuesday night for a pivotal Game 5.
The Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers each stole a win in the opponent’s arena, sending the series back to Arizona in a 2-2 deadlock.
The Lakers failed to capitalize in Game 4, which would have put the Suns on the brink. The worst part of the 100-92 loss, however, could have been the loss of Anthony Davis, who left the game with a groin injury. According to the Lakers’ Monday update, the eight-time NBA All-Star is day-to-day and may miss Game 5.
For Los Angeles, all eyes will be on LeBron James, who will carry an increased workload should Davis be unavailable.
For Phoenix, it doesn’t matter who suits up on Tuesday night. Game 5 is all but a must-win for the Suns. Chris Paul looked more like himself on Sunday with 18 points and nine assists, and Phoenix finished with six players in double digits. If the Suns can repeat that type of well-rounded team effort at home, they’ll be in good shape.
We all know how capable LeBron is at putting a team on his back. Can the Suns out-do him with a five-man attack? Stay tuned, NBA fans! Game 5 should be another close battle between the Suns and Lakers.
