Knicks nemesis Reggie Miller delivered a devastating line about three-pointers at Madison Square Garden during Game 5 between New York and the Hawks.

Reggie Miller used to hit devastating three-pointers on NBA basketball courts.

Now that he’s a broadcaster, he’s still as surgical as ever, just with zingers instead of balls.

The Knicks were his target during Game 5 against the Hawks when Reggie Bullock hit a series of threes.

“These guys should be used to a guy named Reggie knocking down threes in this building,” Miller said during the TNT broadcast, per Jemele Hill.

If you don’t know the history between Miller and the Knicks, that one may not make sense. Miller was known as the “Knick Killer” because of his penchant for crushing New York with big performances and clutch shots.

Most famously, he scored eight points in 8.9 seconds to lead the Pacers to an unbelievable victory over the Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Indiana had trailed by six with 18.7 seconds left in the game.

Reggie Miller cut Knicks fans to the core during Game 5

Knicks fans were already very aware of Miller’s history at Madison Square Garden. As soon as he was assigned to the broadcast, they knew the bad memories would surface.

At least Miller got to make that reference about a Knicks player going off in New York’s favor instead of against them.

Bullock’s first four makes of the game were three-pointers. Meanwhile, Trae Young and Bogdan Bogdanovic were 1-for-12 from distance for the Hawks through three quarters.

The Knicks entered Wednesday’s action in danger of elimination. The Hawks got their own magic Miller-esque magic from Trae Young to build their 3-1 series lead. Atlanta’s star guard hit a runner with 0.9 seconds on the clock to give the Hawks a Game 1 victory. Though New York got one back in Game 2, Atlanta pulled out two wins on their home court to come within a game of advancing.
