Manchester City has put in a massive bid for Aston Villa superstar Jack Grealish and the transfer could rock the English Premier League.

It’s feeling more and more likely that Jack Grealish has played his last game for Aston Villa. While Grealish has always said he loves the club, Manchester City has been showing increased interest this summer and the club wants to get the midfielder to the Etihad Stadium.

Things just took a big step in the right direction, as insider John Perry has reported that City has put a deal worth around $139 million. Now, we must wait and see if Villa will accept or hold out for more.

It goes without saying, but a Grealish to Manchester City transfer would absolutely rock the EPL. After winning the title last season in dominant fashion, Manchester City looks poised to do it once again. Having Grealish fly down the pitch and deliver his epic passes alongside Kevin De Bruyne would be amazing to see.

It’s something that other Premier League sides of course would hate to happen. On the other side of town, Manchester United has been aggressive during this window, bringing in both Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane. Those two moves have United fans dreaming of a potential run at the trophy.

Manchester City of course isn’t going to just sit back and stand pat, as adding Grealish would send quite the message to their rivals. Also, City has been linked for a while now with Harry Kane. If the team is able to somehow pull off bringing in both Grealish and Kane, we might as well just name City the champs now. With Grealish, we could find out soon if he’ll indeed be making his way to play for Pep Guardiola.
