MLB Twitter basks in the greatness of the Yankees win streak ending

Good things must come to an end. For the Yankees, that means the end of a 13-game win streak. MLB Twitter had a field day with the end of an era.

Sometimes you just try to test fate to see how far you can go with it. For the New York Yankees, they’ve been doing pretty well this month, partnered with a 13-game win streak. This has been the longest streak in 60 years since the M&M Boys (that’s Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris for those who don’t know).

It was really fun to watch… but all good things must come to an end. But when they do… better believe the jokes and memes will fly.

As expected, MLB Twitter went to town joking on the end of the Yankees 13-game winning streak

As soon as the Yanks lost to the Oakland Athletics earlier today. It was a quiet L, but not for everyone that wasn’t a Yankees fan.

Sometimes as fans, we get so enamored with winning that we forget what losing feels like, so when it comes around, it hits like a ton of bricks.

Maybe if the cat was there, they wouldn’t be in this predicament. It might have to show up again before playoffs.

It probably stings, but it looks like the Yankees are on to the next one. But for everyone who isn’t a Yankees fan, bask in the glory that is the end of a streak. You might not get a feeling like this again for a long, long time.
