Cristiano Ronaldo has arrived for his first day of training with Manchester United and it’s a true blast from the past.

The man is back. After Manchester United shocked everyone by landing Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the summer transfer window closing, the club legend is back at Carrington training with his new club. For any United supporter, this is incredibly special to see.

After international duty with Portugal, Ronaldo, who will be donning his old No. 7 with the Red Devils, is all set to make his debut for Ole Gunner Solskjaer this weekend when Manchester United hosts Newcastle at Old Trafford.

All eyes will be on Ronaldo this weekend in the Manchester United vs. Newcastle showdown

Ronaldo left Manchester United in 2009 to join Real Madrid and then made his way to Turin to play for Juventus. He didn’t come close to reaching the same amount of success in Italy, as Juventus failed to win a Champions League title with Ronaldo on the pitch.

Now, Ronaldo is focused on helping United end its title drought, as the club hasn’t won any competition since the 2017 Europa League Final. It’s been a long, miserable stretch for the Manchester United supporters, but adding a player of Ronaldo’s caliber has provided plenty of hope and energy around the team.

Despite being 36 years old, Ronaldo remains one of the best goal scorers in the world. There’s a reason he and Lionel Messi are in the GOAT conversation together. After Messi left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain, Ronaldo packing his bags and returning to England was equally as big a story.

Come Saturday, Old Trafford will be absolutely rocking with Ronaldo back on his old stomping grounds. Should he score, you already know the stadium will erupt with people losing their minds.
