Former Oregon Ducks offensive lineman Penei Sewell loved what he saw from his team after they went into the Horseshoe and upset No. 3 Ohio State.
Penei Sewell spent Saturday morning trash talking with his Lions teammate and former Buckeye Jeff Okudah. He came way with bragging right.
After Oregon held on for a 35-28 victory over Ohio State, Sewell took to Twitter to celebrate.

Oregon was a definite underdog going into Ohio Stadium. They were without Kayvon Thibodeaux and Justin Flowe, arguably their best defenders. They were playing at 9:00 a.m. Pacific in front of a boisterous Ohio State home crowd. There’s a reason the Buckeyes were 14-point favorites.
Sewell expected them to show out and they did despite all of that.
CJ Verdell and the rushing attack overwhelmed the Buckeyes defense en route to 269 yards on the ground. Meanwhile, the defense rallied despite their key injuries and kept CJ Stroud and company in check.
Sewell will make his Lions debut on Sunday after they used the No. 7 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Watching the Ducks succeed against the odds should be great motivation for the offensive lineman this weekend as well.
