The Dallas Cowboys’ defense will look a lot different on Monday Night Football when it takes on the Philadelphia Eagles.

This upcoming Monday Night Football’s matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles already isn’t what the Cowboys hoped for. Dallas, which suffered enough last year whenever QB Dak Prescott’s season ended in Week 5 due to an ankle injury, will be missing numerous players on its defense.

The Cowboys’ defense generated more turnovers during the first two weeks of the regular season than any other team in the NFL, but that likely won’t be the case in Week 3.

QB Jalen Hurts and the Eagles’ offense will have a huge advantage lining up across from Dallas.

Welp, Cowboy fans, Monday may not end on a high note.

Demarcus Lawrence is Dallas’ top defender and he fractured his foot during practice last week. DE Dorance Armstrong will likely be sidelined for a few weeks with a high ankle sprain. DT Neville Gallimore was put on IR in August after dislocating his elbow. DE Carlos Watkins is dealing with a knee sprain that hopefully won’t keep him out for too long.

To add to that list of injuries, LB Keanu Neal and DE Randy Gregory are both on the Reserve/COVID-19 List.

Yikes.

Injuries are easily the worst part of the game and unfortunately they were a common theme around the league this past week.

Hurts will have a wide-open opportunity to prove himself as QB1. If you have Dallas’ defense in fantasy football, good luck.
