Former UFC welterweight champion turned boxer Tyron Woodley finally honored his bet with Jake Paul and got a hilarious tattoo.

After weeks of anticipation, Tyron Woodley has finally gotten the “I love Jake Paul” tattoo and shared it in a recent Instagram post.

Paul defeated Woodley by split decision in a boxing match in Cleveland, OH. earlier this summer. It was by-far the toughest challenge of Paul’s career, as Woodley challenged and even stunned him early in the fight.

During their post-fight interview, Paul and Woodley agreed to an immediate rematch if Woodley would get the tattoo and post it on his Instagram page. Woodley lived up to his end of the bet and called out Paul in an Instagram post.

“I love you son,” Woodley said in a post. ” Now come get your a** whippin’ cause I heard you been talking back to your elders, [Jake Paul].”

Jake Paul promised Tyron Woodley a rematch if he got the tattoo

Woodley made his boxing debut after a long and successful career in the UFC. This included his reign as the promotion’s welterweight champion and is considered one of the greatest fighters in the division’s history.

Following a four-fight losing streak which included losing the belt to Kamaru Usman, Woodley opted to transition to boxing. Woodley has been calling for a rematch on social media since just hours after the fight.

It originally appeared that Woodley didn’t have intentions of getting the tattoo, and Paul turned his attention to a possible fight with Tommy Fury. Paul and Fury have gone back-and-forth on social media over contract negotiations, and nothing has materialized.

Woodley vs. Paul 2 could be next after Woodley lived up to the tattoo bet. Whether or not Paul will agree to a rematch remains to be seen, but the stage is set for possible negotiations to happen.
