NBA Twitter couldn’t believe the Bucks collapse and the Knicks turnaround as New York erased a 21-point lead to blow out Milwaukee.
Fiserv Forum definitely hasn’t been home, sweet home for the Milwaukee Bucks this season.
The Knicks made sure of that on Friday night by erasing a 21-point deficit to hand the Bucks their fourth loss in five games at home.
The Bucks were up 40-19 early in the second quarter. Somehow, they let that massive lead slip away by being outscored by more than 10 in each of the final three quarters of the game.
The Knicks turnaround vs. the Bucks was incredible
The stats say it all.

The Knicks trailed by as many as 21 against the Bucks and won by 15.

It is their largest win in any game over the last 25 years in which they trailed by 20+ points. pic.twitter.com/IfYBm5uDcd
But that didn’t stop NBA Twitter from saying plenty as well.
Really nice win on the road against a banged up Bucks team. If the Knicks play like they did in the second half, they can beat anyone in the league. Anyone. Not saying they are the best team in the NBA but they are extremely dangerous when they play great D and their shots fall

41 point turnaround 👀
— Topher (@TophTalk) November 6, 2021
- Started slow & bucks jumped out to a 26 point lead
- Offense was stagnant, body language poor & D non-existent
- Rose (23pts) changed everything sparked a turnaround
- Nerlens was a beast
- Randle dropped 30 & 12, Future All Star Rowan added 20 😈

The Knicks took their first lead with less than two minutes remaining in the third quarter. Before it was all said and done, they’d match Milwaukee’s largest lead plus one.
Julius Randle led his team with 32 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in a complete performance. Derrick Rose came off the bench to score 23 points with eight rebounds, four assists and two steals.
The Bucks were playing without Khris Middleton because of COVID-19 and welcomed back Jrue Holiday from an injury, but he started on the bench and played just 20 minutes.
Giannis Antetokounmpo put up 25 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals in the losing effort. It simply wasn’t enough to keep his team in it.
