Ohio State football: Buckeyes quarterback Jack Miller suspended after arrest
Miller has reportedly received a summons to appear in court. It is not currently clear what Miller’s future with Ohio State holds or when he might be able to return to the Buckeyes. More importantly, it’s incredibly good news that there weren’t any crashes and nobody was injured in all of this.
While these sorts of arrests often draw plenty of criticism, the timing of this particular incident will almost certainly resonate with many.
Las Vegas Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs III was recently allegedly involved in a horrifying crash that resulted in the death of a woman. Ruggs allegedly had a BAC that was over twice the legal limit and was in turn released from the Raiders.
If you scroll through the responses to Landis’ tweet, you’ll find no shortage of references to Ruggs and that terrible crash. Thankfully, Miller was not involved in anything remotely that severe.
