Arguably the worst team in the NFL, the Houston Texans are having an abysmal season. Things started fine for Houston as the Texans went out and beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 37-21 in the first week of the season.

However, things have been much rougher for Houston since then. Starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor went down with a hamstring injury, although he’s poised to be able to return soon, and the Texans haven’t been able to make a trade for Deshaun Watson. On top of that, Houston has lost seven games in a row. So, things aren’t great for Houston right now.

Of course, the Miami Dolphins aren’t exactly doing all that great either.

Like Houston, Miami is 1-7 on the season. Like Houston, the Dolphins went out and won their season opener and then lost seven games straight. And like Houston, they’ve been dealing with the inability to make a Watson trade happen. Miami was expected to be a potential partner for Houston in a trade involving Watson, but that never came to fruition.

The Texans have to be excited about getting Taylor back from injury this week. Things have been difficult to watch without him, and there’s no guarantee that he’ll even be able to fix everything, but he gives Houston a better chance at winning.
