The college football world is reacting to the Oklahoma Sooners’ disastrous loss to the Baylor Bears Saturday afternoon.
The Baylor Bears were able to completely derail the Oklahoma Sooners‘ season Saturday afternoon after they secured a crushing 27-14 victory in McLane Stadium. The Sooners came into the year hoping to compete for a national championship and they’ve flirted with disaster all season.
Oklahoma had the longest winning streak but that’s over now. When facing the Bears, the Sooners simply couldn’t escape with a win. Now the college football world is reacting to the upset win that has Big 12 title and playoff implications.
Twitter reacts to Oklahoma Sooners humiliating loss to Baylor Bears Saturday
This loss is huge in a lot of ways, but Oklahoma just flat-out looks bad right now. Sure, the Sooners are 9-1, but they don’t seem all that impressive in many of those nine wins. It’s bizarre to see Oklahoma’s offense seem so incredibly inept.
Oklahoma has not been dominated like this in a conference game since 2014

Baylor with an absolute smother job. Right now worst fewest yards of the Lincoln Riley era.

Another Baylor touchdown. Not surprised Baylor is winning at home, but floored that OU's offense - after a bye week?! - is this stagnant.

So this was @AriWasserman to me this week talking about Oklahoma.

The Baylor fans in the stands were more than within their right to mock Oklahoma’s impending move to the SEC. Breaking out the classic “SEC” chant whenever an SEC team loses on a big stage is perfect, but it’s even better to do it against a team that wants to be in the SEC and is helping to destabilize its current conference in the process.
Baylor crowd sticking the knives in: "SEC, SEC, SEC"

People are mocking Oklahoma and Texas for moving to the SEC, but if you’re both going to lose to Baylor, you might as well lose to Ole Miss for twice the paycheck

Who had Baylor smothering both Texas and OU this season in Waco? With Baylor fans chanting "SEC!" in derogatory fashion after both?

Oklahoma losing should be pretty helpful for Cincinnati’s playoff case. It may not be enough to convince everyone, but it’ll certainly do something for the Bearcats.
Baylor’s gonna beat Oklahoma, knocking off another undefeated.

Cincinnati just keeps winning and hanging around…...
Forget No. 8 in the country, it's entirely possible Oklahoma is the fourth-best team in the Big 12.

Oklahoma = cooked.

Lincoln Riley saved Oklahoma's season by having the guts to go with Caleb Williams in the 2nd half vs Texas. He blew Oklahoma's season by not having the guts to stick with Caleb in the 4th quarter at Baylor.

Former Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III was stoked
BAYLOR!!!!!!
