Georgia football fans aren’t thrilled with how the Bulldogs’ offense is struggling. Is it time for JT Daniels to take over in the SEC Championship Game?

The Georgia Bulldogs are stumbling around in the SEC Championship Game. Do they need a new quarterback to help elevate their offense? Some Georgia football fans on Twitter seem to believe that JT Daniels might make a difference.

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart trusted Stetson Bennett against the Alabama Crimson Tide, but the offense has been stale for most of the game.

Bennett has completed 19-of-30 passes for just 229 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, one of which was taken back for a touchdown. The Bulldogs are trailing 38-17 in the fourth quarter and they’ve only gained 320 total yards of offense.

Would switching Bennett for Daniels change things?

Georgia football: Bulldogs offense looks stale as Stetson Bennett struggles

When Daniels transferred from USC to Georgia, it was assumed that he’d be able to flourish under Todd Monken’s offense. Unfortunately for Georgia and Daniels, the quarterback has been injured a bit and hasn’t been able to see the field much.

If Georgia still makes the College Football Playoff, though, you have to wonder if Smart and the Bulldogs coaching staff will contemplate a move from Bennett to Daniels.
