Alabama and Georgia football fans both had the same complaints about CBS broadcasting pair Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson during the SEC title game.

The SEC Championship Game was always going to create divisions between the Alabama and Georgia fanbases.

Who knew it could also bring them together?

CBS broadcasters Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson had fans of the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs joining forces to complain, often for the same reasons on opposite sides of the coin.

Just about every week fans complain about broadcasters like Nessler and Danielson. It’s part of the job. They might even wear it as a badge of honor that Alabama and Georgia fans both accuse them of being fans of the other team.

In the end, Saturday’s matchup is all about the teams, not the broadcasters. Georgia is almost guaranteed a spot in the College Football Playoff, win or lose. It’s Alabama that really needs to win to get in.

Still, the Bulldogs have no shortage of incentive to get one over on their rivals. Georgia hasn’t beaten Alabama since 2007. They’ve lost to them twice in the SEC Championship Game and once in the playoff during that span of six meetings.
