Florida State gets dragged on Twitter after losing Travis Hunter to Jackson State
By John Buhler
Twitter is absolutely crushing the Florida State football program for losing top recruit Travis Hunter to Seminoles alum and Jackson State football team head coach Deion Sanders on Early Signing Day.
While Jackson State football fans celebrate their biggest win in decades, Florida State football fans are dealing with the fact that Travis Hunter left them at the altar.
This is what happens when Deion Sanders is the face of an HBCU program. Coach Prime took the best player in the 2022 recruiting class away from his alma mater and is bringing him to Jackson, Mississippi to play for the Tigers. The college football world has completely changed after this flip of gargantuan proportions. Welcome to the world of college athletics throughly dominated by NIL.
All the while, everybody and their brother is raking Florida State over the coals for losing Hunter.

Florida State football gets harpooned over Twitter after losing Travis Hunter
It took a perfect storm of events for this unprecedented flip to even happen. Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell did not even see it coming.

Florida State had to be down as a program. Sanders had to be leading his own program. Most importantly, NIL had to be enacted to at least give Jackson State a puncher’s chance to pull of this most monumental recruiting upset.
Ultimately, nobody is enjoying this from a third-party perspective more than rival schools like Clemson, Florida and Miami.

At this time, all we need to see is Hunter and Sanders co-star in an Aflac commercial next fall.
