Michigan and Georgia are getting set to face off in the Orange Bowl. Here’s everything you need to watch the College Football Playoff semifinal.

The Michigan Wolverines are finally having their breakthrough season with Jim Harbaugh. After a couple seasons of patiently waiting and then a few seasons of having their patience tested by underachieving teams, Michigan fans are finally getting the opportunity to watch their team compete in the College Football Playoff.

The Wolverines broke through in the Big Ten East, beat the Ohio State Buckeyes to win The Game for the first time in years, and then won the Big Ten Championship Game. Now the Wolverines are tasked with taking on the Georgia Bulldogs.

Up until the SEC Championship Game, 2021 was the picture perfect season for Georgia. The Bulldogs, thanks in large part to their absurdly talented defense, were able to bulldoze through their foes. Up until they met Nick Saban, that is.

Georgia wasn’t really challenged at all in the regular season. But, once they took on eventual Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young and the Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia unexpectedly faltered and fell. The Bulldogs are still a great team and they’ve got what it takes to compete for a championship, but they’ll need to bounce back in the College Football Playoff.
