Ahead of the highly-anticipated showdown on Sunday between the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals, Dak Prescott is honoring team legend Roger Staubach.

Dak Prescott looked like one of the best players in the game last week, putting together an unreal performance vs. Washington. Now, Prescott will look to have another big performance, this time against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Heading into the primetime battle, Prescott is sporting a shirt that Dallas Cowboys fans are going to love. Yup, No. 4 is showing respect to the one and only Roger Staubach. That’s quite the move there from the star signal-caller.

Dak Prescott wearing a Roger Staubach shirt is awesome

Staubach is still adored by countless folks all over Texas following his legendary days suiting up for the team. Now, Prescott is hoping to live up to the hype himself now that he’s running the show for America’s Team.

Last weekend, Prescott indeed looked fantastic, as he finished throwing for 330 yards and four touchdowns. Those stats came in a 56-14 victory over their NFC East rivals. Those two squads hate each other, and Dallas really took it to them. It was great to see.

Now, the Cowboys are hoping to keep their hopes alive to potentially try and grab the No. 1 seed in the NFC. In order for that to happen, they’ll need to take care of business on Sunday against Arizona and hope for some help from Minnesota. The Vikings take on the Green Bay Packers, with the Lambeau Side at 12-3 on the year.

Prescott is going to focus on what he can control, and that’s on making the Arizona defense look silly. He’ll hope to channel his inner Staubach here and help the ‘Boys keep on rolling in a big way in Week 17.
