The Cowboys looked downright invincible against Washington last week. Here are five bold predictions as to how they’ll fare against Arizona in Week 17.

Dallas beat Washington just about as badly as one NFL team can beat a peer on Sunday Night Football. The Cowboys are smart enough to understand that next week’s game against the Cardinals won’t be so easy.

Kyler Murray and his squad are desperate to right the ship after suffering their third consecutive loss at the hands of the Colts last week. Arizona is still postseason bound but they desperately need to generate some momentum before the playoffs arrive.

The Cowboys can feel the figurative wind at their backs as they prepare to enter the postseason as the NFC East champions. Adding to Arizona’s misery will be the order of the day for Dallas on Sunday afternoon. Here are five bold predictions on how that will go down.

5. DeMarcus Lawrence will force another turnover

The presence of Micah Parsons means Lawrence no longer has to be the Cowboys’ No. 1 pass rusher. He relished that role against Washington last week. The veteran edge rusher logged a sack and an interception in his team’s route.

The chances of him picking off Murray in this game are pretty remote, but the young Cardinals’ quarterback can get loose with the ball in the pocket. Bet on Lawrence to come up with a big sack early in this game to help his team sprint out to an unassailable lead. There’s still some valuable juice in Lawrence’s aging legs.
