3. Detroit Lions

There may be no team in the NFL more in need of a talent influx at wide receiver than the Lions. Rookie Amon-Ra St. Brown has proven to be quite a find, as one of the most productive receivers in the league over the last five weeks. With two first-round picks in April’s draft and an early second-round pick, they may be able to add someone from what’s looking to be another deep class of wide receivers.

But Ridley is a proven commodity, with plenty of peak years left in his career. No matter who Detroit’s quarterback is, likely Jared Goff in 2022 and likely someone else beyond that, Ridley will help said signal caller be their best.

Having three of the first 35 picks in April’s draft positions the Lions to make a move, either up the draft board in the first round for a wide receiver or to trade for someone notable. They have enough cap space to sign someone in free agency too, with only Davante Adams looking sure to be out of their price range if he’s available.

In the Lions, as much as he might have input in where’s he’s dealt (if he’s dealt), Ridley should see a more promising situation than he has in Atlanta.
