FOX and CBS both have doubleheaders in Week 18 but what games will be available in your area?
The end of the NFL’s longest regular-season ever is finally here with Week 18 set to kick off on Saturday afternoon. Two games will air on ESPN as part of a special Week 18 doubleheader while the rest of the action will take place on Sunday, which will ultimately decide the final postseason field for the NFL.
Both CBS and FOX have doubleheaders this week so fans should have access to seven NFL games in Week 18. Read on to find out what games will be available in your area, as well as who will be calling the action, with this week’s NFL TV coverage maps courtesy of our friends over at 506 Sports.
NFL Week 18 TV Coverage Maps
Saturday, Jan. 8
Monday Night Football Season Finale (ESPN/ABC)
Kansas City Chiefs (11-5) at Denver Broncos (7-9) (4:30): Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit
Dallas Cowboys (11-5) at Philadelphia Eagles (9-7) (8:15): Steve Levy, Brian Griese, Louis Riddick
The Week 18 Saturday games feature three playoff teams jockeying for seeding that won’t have a tremendous impact on Sunday’s action. ESPN’s top college football broadcast crew of Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the early game in Denver before getting ready for the National Championship Game on Monday night.
Sunday, Jan. 9
CBS (Early Window)
Pittsburgh Steelers (8-7-1) at Baltimore Ravens (8-8) (Red): Ian Eagle, Charles Davis
Indianapolis Colts (9-7) at Jacksonville Jaguars (2-14) (Blue): Greg Gumbel, Adam Archuleta
Tennessee Titans (11-5) at Houston Texans (4-12) (Green): Andrew Catalon, James Lofton
CBS’ early window is highlighted by Steelers-Ravens, which could mark Ben Roethlisberger’s final game as a Steeler, and will go to the majority of the country. The two AFC South matchups will be regionalized as the Colts look to secure a wild card berth with their first win in Jacksonville since 2014 while Tennessee can increase its Super Bowl odds by wrapping up home field with a win against the Houston Texans.
FOX (Early Window)
Green Bay Packers (13-3) at Detroit Lions (2-13-1) (Red): Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen
Cincinnati Bengals (10-6) at Cleveland Browns (7-9) (Blue): Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma
Washington Football Team (6-10) at New York Giants (4-12) (Green): Chris Myers, Daryl Johnston
Chicago Bears (6-10) at Minnesota Vikings (7-9) (Yellow): Gus Johnson, Aqib Talib
There isn’t a lot going on playoff-wise in FOX’s early window since Green Bay already locked up home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. That game will go to the majority of the country while the cross-flexed Bengals-Browns matchup has an impact on seeding scenarios in the AFC.
CBS (Late Window)
Carolina Panthers (5-11) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (12-4) (Red): Jim Nantz, Tony Romo
New York Jets (4-12) at Buffalo Bills (10-6) (Blue): Kevin Harlan, Trent Green
New England Patriots (10-6) at Miami Dolphins (8-8) (Green): Spero Dedes, Jay Feely
CBS was cross-flexed Panthers-Buccaneers and is opting to send Jim Nantz and Tony Romo to Tampa to see Tom Brady go for the NFC’s No. 2 seed. That matchup will share a fairly even distribution split with Bills-Jets, which has the AFC East crown on the line for Buffalo, while Miami-New England is the most competitive game of this lot but won’t be seen outside of regional coverage.
FOX (Late Window)
San Francisco 49ers (9-7) at Los Angeles Rams (12-4) (Red): Joe Buck, Troy Aikman
Seattle Seahawks (6-10) at Arizona Cardinals (11-5) (Blue): Adam Amin, Mark Schlereth
New Orleans Saints (8-8) at Atlanta Falcons (7-9) (Green): Kevin Kugler, Mark Sanchez
The final NFC playoff spots will be determined here as the NFC West crown will be decided by Rams-49ers, which will see Joe Buck and Troy Aikman out at SoFi Stadium. The 49ers are also involved in the Wild Card race and need a win or a loss by New Orleans to get in.
Sunday Night Football (NBC)
Los Angeles Chargers (9-7) at Las Vegas Raiders (9-7): Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth
Game 272 should be (barring a stunning Colts’ loss in Jacksonville) a win-or-go-home affair between the Chargers and Raiders in Las Vegas. Al Michaels is back from a bye week and will be on the call for the contest that will determine the final NFL playoff spot in 2021.
