Aaron Rodgers will be furious with Colin Cowherd’s new conspiracy theory

Colin Cowherd has come up with a theory that Aaron Rodgers’ camp started the Super Bowl boycott rumors and the video of it sure is something. 

Aaron Rodgers probably thought he’d be able to enjoy the bye week for the Green Bay Packers and rest up his toe, but then Colin Cowherd has come in and made quite the statement. Remember last week when Boomer Esiason said one of his sources told him Rodgers could end up boycotting the Super Bowl if Green Bay made it?

Rodgers laughed that off and passionately called it fake news. Well, Cowherd has taken things one step further, essentially saying he wouldn’t be surprised if it was Rodgers’ camp who spread that rumor. Seriously, dude?

Who is Cowherd trying to fool here? The fact that he even tried to make this point on his podcast is comical. You really think Rodgers and the people close to him are trying to stir up these kinds of rumors right before the playoffs?

If anything, this is only going to infuriate Rodgers and want him to play even better once the Divisional Round arrives for the Packers. People have been bashing Rodgers for a while now, with many even saying he’s not worthy of MVP honors. Cowherd came out and said that Joe Burrow should be MVP and not the future Hall of Famer Rodgers.

While Rodgers hasn’t responded to this latest accusation from Cowherd just yet, you’ve got to figure he’ll be speaking his mind in the near future. Rodgers has been incredibly open this year in going after his haters and this could prove to be bad news for Cowherd sooner than later.
