49ers get great injury news heading into playoff matchup vs. Packers
By Ethan Lee
The San Francisco 49ers got a great bit of injury news prior to their playoff matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
After the San Francisco 49ers were able to take care of business on the road against Mike McCarthy and the Dallas Cowboys as they got a solid win to get their run in the NFL Playoffs started, the 49ers were also able to get some pretty good news before facing the Green Bay Packers.
The 49ers had some concerns surrounding Nick Bosa and Jimmy Garoppolo, but both were able to get some pretty promising injury updates.
According to a tweet from the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Garoppolo was able to return to practice as a “full participant” despite some previous worries over his right thumb and shoulder.
As for Bosa, he’s currently listed as “questionable,” according to Rapoport. However, Bosa is working on coming back from a concussion and was also able to be a full participant, per Rapoport’s tweet.
That’s huge news.
NFL Playoffs: San Francisco 49ers get great injury update before facing Green Bay Packers
The 49ers will need to have everyone who could possibly be ready to actually be ready. San Francisco is absolutely going to need a solid showing from their stars as they head north to face off against the Green Bay Packers.
Green Bay is talented, was the top seed of the NFC, and looks to be a dominant force on offense thanks in large part to quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers and the Packers will want to advance on to the NFC Championship, but Garoppolo and Bosa potentially showing up could make things challenging for Green Bay.
