Aaron Rodgers trashed Joe Biden in ESPN interview

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers took a shot at President Joe Biden in his latest interview with ESPN.

Rodgers hasn’t been shy about taking on his critics, of which he includes the current U.S. President, Joe Biden.

Biden reportedly told a Packers fan that he hopes Rodgers gets vaccinated. Rodgers, infamously ‘immunized’ as he puts it, took that as a slight and fired back at the President in an interview with ESPN.

Rodgers, who spoke with ESPN’s Kevin Van Valkenburg about football, life and all things in between, didn’t shy away from talking about Biden.

"“When the president of the United States says, ‘This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated,’ it’s because him and his constituents, which, I don’t know how there are any if you watch any of his attempts at public speaking, but I guess he got 81 million votes,” Rodgers said Thursday."

Rodgers went on to quote a report about the CDC, which in itself was taken out of context. But I digress.

Rodgers’ season has been a whirlwind of emotions off of the field, but on it he’s the undeniable favorite for NFL MVP. Any other result would be a relative shock given his accomplishments.

MVP is a nice trophy to add to the mantle, but there’s only one thing Rodgers is chasing at this juncture — his second Lombardi. Rodgers defeated the Steelers in 2010 and was named Super Bowl MVP, but hasn’t been back in over a decade.

The Packers entered the postseason as unquestioned favorites to win it all. Any other result would be considered a drastic on-field failure, something Rodgers surely would like to avoid.
