With the Green Bay Packers getting bounced from the NFL Playoffs, once Chicago hot dog stand is having some fun at Aaron Rodgers’ expense.

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers suffered a fairly shocking home loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Now, Rodgers and the Packers are out of the NFL Playoffs, the 49ers are moving on, and the folks running a Chicago hot dog stand are having some fun.

The Wiener Circle previously said that if Rodgers and the Packers lost, they’d give away free cheese fries.

And since the 49ers beat Rodgers and the Packers, the hot dog stand is following through with its promotion.

All anyone needs to do to get “endless amounts of cheese fries” (which sounds fantastic, by the way) is to show up and purchase a beverage.

And that’s it. Get a drink. Get an unending amount of fried spuds covered in cheese. All because Rodgers and the Packers weren’t able to defend their home turf against the 49ers. That’s an incredible promotion.

It’s also an incredible display of how petty a rivalry can be.

The whole sign is a callback to Rodgers roasting the Chicago Bears earlier in the season. For those that don’t remember, Rodgers went around taunting Bears fans and hollering “I still own you.” Which, you know, was funny for everyone but Chicago fans in that moment.

The sign also takes a shot at Rodgers’ COVID-19 vaccine controversy, which drew all sorts of criticism to the Packers quarterback.

But now, the Packers are out of the playoffs and the folks in Chicago will get cheese fries. Rodgers will have to figure out if he’ll stick around in Green Bay or if he’ll move on to another franchise. The 49ers go on to the NFC Championship Game.
