Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is officially a married man. Patrick Mahomes wed longtime love, Brittany Matthews on Saturday, March 12, 2022, in a “lavish” ceremony in Hawaii. And the frontman shared the first photos of the couple on their wedding day.

The pair have been engaged since September 2020 and share a daughter, Sterling who was born February 2021.

“9.1.2020. On a day that was meant to celebrate you, you turned it into celebrating us. It’s always us, it’s always you and me. The words you looked into my eyes and said to me at this moment will NEVER leave my mind!” Matthews wrote on Instagram when Mahomes presented her with the ring … the same day he got his Super Bowl ring.

Matthews has become almost as important a figure to the Chiefs as Mahomes himself as she’s constantly making headlines for her sideline antics, strong opinions and unwavering support for the Chiefs.

The couple was recently caught up in controversy over a fake report that Mahomes asked Matthews to not attend games. The report turned out to be fake and Mahomes and Matthews both reacted to it online.
