Tom Brady was at Old Trafford to watch Manchester United on Saturday and it sure looks like he told Cristiano Ronaldo he’s not done playing just yet.
Cristiano Ronaldo may have stolen the show on Saturday with his hat-trick in the Manchester United win over Tottenham, but countless eyes were also on Tom Brady. The future Hall-of-Famer was at Old Trafford to watch the action, clearly blown away by Ronaldo’s play.
After the match, Ronaldo and Brady were seen down on the pitch talking. What’s really eye-opening here is that Ronaldo straight up asked Brady if he was done playing, with the signal-caller’s response sure has people talking.
Tom Brady has a video on his Instagram story of him talking to Cristiano Ronaldo:

Tom Brady may have hinted to Ronaldo that he’s going to play in 2022
Brady’s face made it seems like he’s having second thoughts on retirement. Despite being 44 and turning 45 in August, Brady looked fantastic in 2021 and had Tampa Bay looking strong throughout the year. Fans are now convinced he could be back on the field come Week 1.

Everyone appears to be guessing exactly what Brady told Ronaldo, with people thinking Brady said he’ll probably come back, while others think he said he’s probably done in the NFL. Still, Brady didn’t seem overly convincing with whatever he did say, which sure would leave the door open for a potential return.
It was a bit of a surprise when Brady announced his retirement earlier this offseason, as it looked like he was going to come back for one last go. Now, it feels like retirement could be short lived for TB12. If he does come back, perhaps seeing Ronaldo ball out in such electric fashion at Old Trafford reminded Brady of what it’s like to be considered the GOAT. NFL fans will surely be monitoring this situation closely.
