The Saint Peter’s Peacocks have made it to the Sweet 16 and are getting set to face off against the Purdue Boilermakers. Here’s what you need to know.

Anyone who has been keeping up with the NCAA Tournament this year is well aware of the Saint Peter’s Peacocks and the way they’ve busted some brackets. The Peacocks, arguably the most intriguing team left in the NCAA Tournament, weren’t expected to make it this far. Now that they’re in the Sweet 16, it’s going to be thrilling to see how far they can go.

Saint Peter’s, a 15 seed, shocked everyone by taking care of the Kentucky Wildcats in overtime to get the tournament started. From there, the Peacocks took down the Murray State Racers. Now they’ve got their eyes on Purdue and advancing on to the Elite Eight.

The Boilermakers have been pretty good so far and it’s clear why they are considered one of the best teams in the tournament. Purdue is definitely a team that few will be able to easily match up with and has been able to crush opponents. The Boilermakers blew out the Yale Bulldogs and then thumped the Texas Longhorns 81-71.

Here’s what you need to keep up with Saint Peter’s and Purdue.

Saint Peter’s vs. Purdue game time

The Sweet 16 matchup between the Boilermaker and the Peacocks will get going at 7:09 p.m ET. The game is taking place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

CBS will be broadcasting the game live. For fans who would rather watch the game online, a live stream will be available through fubo.tv.

Saint Peter’s vs. Purdue prediction

It’s hard to bet against Saint Peter’s right now. For neutral observers, the Peacocks have been exciting and fun to watch. Fans who have seen their teams lose to Saint Peter’s aren’t as happy about the whole run though.

That said, Purdue could be a problem for the Peacocks. Jaden Ivey put up a combined 40 points against the Longhorns and the Bulldogs and he’s primed to have another big game. While it would be thrilling to watch Saint Peter’s continue its thrilling run, expect the Boilermakers to come out on top.

Prediction: Purdue wins 76-68
