Kentucky basketball fans are having an awful time as the Wildcats fall flat on their faces against the Saint Peter’s Peacocks.

Big Blue Nation is in shambles as March Madness has very quickly become March Sadness for Kentucky basketball fans. In a wild and referee whistle-filled game, the Kentucky Wildcats were upset by the Saint Peter’s Peacocks.

This is a game that Kentucky should have been able to dominate. The Wildcats are loaded with talent and should have been able to cruise to a simple, easy victory.

That’s not exactly what happened to the Wildcats though.

The Peacocks, a 15 seed, were a pest to the Wildcats all evening. As a result, Saint Peter’s managed to take down Kentucky with a very respectable 85-79 win in overtime. The Wildcats had plenty of opportunities to control this game. They were sent to the free throw line 35 times and only managed to make 23 attempts.

That’s not good!

Well, it was for Saint Peter’s. The Peacocks have to be glad Kentucky wasn’t able to take advantage of those free throw attempts.

Now the Wildcats are headed home and Kentucky fans are incensed.

But if you’ve found yourself becoming the newest Peacocks die-hard fan, you’re going to want to check out BreakingT’s latest.
