F1 race today: How to watch Saudi Arabia Grand Prix live stream Reddit
F1 is ready to race the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix on Sunday with a starting grid set and a tight field of drivers looking for a victory.
The 2022 Formula 1 season is in just its second week but it has already experienced enough drama at the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix to fill an entire calendar year.
A Houthi missile attack near the track on Friday put the entire weekend in doubt as drivers and team principals debated safety concerns.
On Saturday, safety was again under the microscope as Mick Schumacher horrifically crashed his Haas into the barriers and had to be taken to the hospital.
Then, in a surprise turn of events at the end of qualifying, neither Charles Leclerc nor Max Verstappen managed to grab pole on Sunday. Instead, it was Sergio Perez who topped the timing charts and became the first-ever Mexican driver to win pole position.
And that wasn’t even the most shocking result from Saturday. Lewis Hamilton struggled to figure out his car and was knocked out in Q1 for the first time since 2017.
