Former Duke star Jay Williams has a message for UNC

If North Carolina beats Saint Peter’s on Sunday, it will set up an epic Final Four showdown against Duke and Jay Williams is ready for it to happen. 

With the Blue Devils taking down Arkansas in the Elite Eight, Duke is headed to the Final Four and the powerhouse has a National Championship on its mind. Mike Krzyzewski and his players will wait to see who they play next, with North Carolina and Saint Peter’s squaring off on Sunday. evening

The winner of that meeting will move on to play Duke. Can you imagine if Duke and North Carolina face off in the Final Four? This is something everyone outside of Saint Peter’s alumni and New Jersey residents would love to see. This includes Duke legend, Jay Williams who is waiting for UNC to win so they’ll meet the rival Blue Devils.

Jay Williams is ready for Duke to get some revenge on North Carolina

Williams would love it if North Carolina and Duke were to meet with a trip to the title game on the line. Everyone knows Williams will be rooting for the Blue Devils to come out on top, as he was an absolute baller for Krzyzewski back in the day.

Duke would be hungry for some serious revenge against the Tar Heels. In the regular season finale, North Carolina stunned Duke in Cameron Indoor Stadium. It was Krzyzewski’s last home game in front of all the Duke fans, but the Tar Heels spoiled the party.

That loss has left a sour taste in the mouths for all of the Duke players. They’ll want to end North Carolina’s season in the Final Four, but Saint Peter’s is hoping to have a say in things as well.
