Dwayne Haskins was hit by a dump truck in south Florida
According to CNN, Haskins was hit by a dump truck at around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday. He was trying to get across a highway when he was hit.
In 2018, Haskins won the starting job over Joe Burrow as a third-year sophomore and put up video game-type numbers.
In that campaign, Haskins tossed for 4,831 yards and 50 touchdowns and was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. Thanks to that big year, Haskins became a first-round draft pick of the Washington Football Team. After two years with Washington, Haskins then signed with the Steelers on a one-year deal. Last month, Haskins re-signed with the team. He was in Florida training with teammates.
