Top Detroit Tigers prospect Spencer Torkelson recorded his first hit on Tuesday and fans are jacked up about it.
Detroit Tigers stud Spencer Torkelson is officially on the board. In the showdown with the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday, Torkelson entered play without recording a big-league hit. Well, that has changed for him.
In the bottom of the third inning, Torkleson delivered his first hit, coming off veteran Rich Hill, and the fans inside of the stadium went nuts. Torkelson is looked at as the future of this club and rightfully so.

That last tweet is gold from that Tigers fan, as it looks like people are already thinking about him getting to 3,000 for his career. In all seriousness, this is a big moment for Torkelson and it’s an achievement he’ll most definitely never forget.
