Things just keep going from bad to worse for Manchester United. Now, the fans are turning against the players in the worst way possible. Just ask skipper and center back Harry Maguire about that one.
According to Sky Sports, Maguire received a bomb threat to his home in Manchester after the team’s 4-0 loss to Liverpool. Maguire had a game to forget in the defeat, but there’s simply no excuses for the United fanbase to act like this.

MUFC fans may be upset with Maguire, but the fact that things came to this is a total embarrassment for the club as a whole. As things stand, United is on the outside looking in of the Top 4 battle. Things got even worse for the club on Wednesday with Arsenal recording a shock win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
This came 24 hours after the Red Devils were dominated at Anfield by Liverpool. Now, all signs are pointing to MUFC playing in the Europa League next season. It’s unacceptable for this to happen to the club, but that’s how the campaign has gone for United.
As captain, Maguire will always face a ton of pressure to deliver for the team, but he’s been awful throughout the season. The supporters have let him know just how much they’ve been disappointed by him, but the fact that police had to go sweep his house to make sure no bombs were present is something no one expected.
Come this weekend, United will be taking on Arsenal, but Maguire will understandably be playing with a bit of a heavy heart.
