Updated WrestleMania Backlash match card after April 25 Raw

One new match was added to the WrestleMania Backlash card after the Apr. 25 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.

The next WWE premium live event that is approaching on the calendar is WrestleMania Backlash. Following the Apr. 25 episode of Monday Night Raw, there was one new match added to the card, and it is a WrestleMania 38 rematch.

Bobby Lashley took on Omos in an arm-wrestling match. Even with Lashley’s former manager, MVP, antagonizing him on the mic, “The All Mighty” brought Omos’ hand to the pad to get the win. However, Omos attacked Lashley afterwards, where he crushed him with a table.

Omos wanted a rematch at WrestleMania Backlash, and it was made official during RawTalk.

While there were no other new matches added, it was quite the eventful Raw.

Randy Orton celebrated his 20th anniversary in WWE, where he teamed with Riddle, Cody Rhodes and Ezekiel to defeat Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and The Uso’s (Jimmy and Jey). The end of the match saw Orton hit an RKO on all four of his opponents.

Asuka made her return to WWE and set her focus on Becky Lynch, who spoke for the first time since losing the Raw Women’s Championship to Bianca Belair at WrestleMania.

Mustafa Ali, who had not been on WWE television since last fall, reappeared to interrupt Miz TV with United States Champion Theory. Ali wanted to challenge Theory for the title, but instead got a match with The Miz. Ali was victorious, but he was attacked by Ciampa on the stage.

  • I Quit match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ronda Rousey
  • Winner Take All Tag Team Championship Unification match: SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Uso’s (Jimmy and Jey) vs. Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle)
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins
  • Edge vs. AJ Styles
  • Happy Corbin vs. Madcap Moss (announced after Apr. 22 episode of SmackDown)
  • Bobby Lashley vs. Omos
