The 2022 NHL Draft takes place on Thursday, July 7 and Friday, July 8, live from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Here is how you can watch the event.
The day has finally arrived for hockey fans — the 2022 NHL Draft. This is the first time that the NHL Draft will be held in an arena in three years, as the previous two years were held at the NHL Network studios in Secaucus, NJ due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will emanate from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
When the draft begins, the first team that will be on the clock are the host Montreal Canadiens, by way of winning the NHL Draft Lottery. With that, they are in position to take center Shane Wright, who is the consensus No. 1 overall prospect in the entire class, or one of the other top payers that they feel would help them for the foreseeable future.

2022 NHL Draft TV Channel
The first-round of the 2022 NHL Draft will air on ESPN and on SportsNet (Canada) on Thursday, July 7 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
The second through seventh rounds will air on the NHL Network and SportsNet (Canada) on Friday, July 8 at 11:00 a.m. ET.
