2. Read the article and comment or share it with your thoughts

You don’t have to stop at reading the article. You can, but you don’t have to. There’s more.

You’re a smart person. You might have thoughts. Maybe things that could be improved or maybe there are things that you agree with entirely. Tell the world. Broadcasting opinions need not be limited to those with a dedicated outlet. You deserve one too.

Moreover, not everything can be covered in one piece. Your take can fill in some blanks. Relevant context can be added after the fact, and you can be the context person who does that.

Or maybe there’s something you agree with that you want to put in a different way. That can be a bridge to understanding for anyone you might see what you have to say. Words mean different things to different people.

Or maybe theres’s something about the NBA Power Rankings you do need to quash. Having criticisms of an article is not innately devaluing the work. Discussion coming from disagreement can be beneficial to all parties.

It can also give a feeling of contribution. You matter, after all. Your thoughts do too. Lending your value to a piece elevates it from standalone work to something dynamic.

Ultimately, this response is a little extra. It shouldn’t feel mandatory. It’s an additional expression that one has the freedom to engage in or not. The benefits, however, are there. If a piece moves you, I recommend you interact with it.
