21. Cheese

Do you know how many types of cheese there are? I don’t either, but it’s a lot. You can walk into a Kroger, go to the cheese section, and be like ā€œwow. That’s a lot of cheese.ā€ That’s how you know.

And cheese is good! Also, you have to eat. Why not eat cheese?

One thing you can do is try a new type of cheese every day. The aforementioned Kroger section should last you all the way past the preseason. Do you like nutty cheeses? Do you even know?

Another thing you can do is try familiar cheeses in different ways. How different does one taste melted versus cold? You can make keto-friendly crackers by shredding cheese onto a non-stick oven sheet and baking it crispy. Find which one is best! Do small runs in a toaster oven instead so you’re not wasting all your cheese if it doesn’t turn out great.

There’s also fondue. That’s a party. There are also those raclette grills that the Swiss use. That’s another kind of party that’s more Swiss.

When I was a kid, I took every different type of cheese we had from shredded to Kraft slices and put them all in a bowl. I mixed them up as best I could, and then microwaved it. I then ate all the melted cheese from the bowl with a spoon. I’m not saying you should do that, but it’s an option.

But maybe you’re lactose intolerant. If so, then this one may not be for you. Try one of the other twenty-four things.
