College Gameday took their crew to Clemson on Saturday for the first time in several years, but minus Lee Corso. Still, the signs were as great as ever.

Dabo Swinney and Co. play host to North Carolina State on Saturday in a top-10 ACC matchup. The Tigers are favored, and rightly so, as they’ve dominated the Atlantic Coast Conference for the majority of the last decade.

However, could a changing of the guard be in order?

Even with Hurricane Ian moving up the East coast, the Tigers will play host to the Wolfpack in Death Valley on Saturday. While NC State coach Dave Doeren was initially concerned about travel, his team was able to make it unscathed.

Clemson vs NC State series history

Clemson leads the all-time series 59-29-1. North Carolina State won their last meeting, however, 29-21. These two teams will battle it out for far more than bragging rights, as the ACC Atlantic division could very well come down to their head-to-head matchup.

The game will be available on local cable via ABC, with kickoff coming around 7:30 p.m. ET. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe will be on the call for the Worldwide Leader.
