After Utah lost to UCLA and Oklahoma State held on to beat Texas Tech, here is what the college football rankings could look like.

Week 6 of the college football season is not even halfway done, and there is already some movement in the AP Top 25 rankings.

There has already been one upset on the day, and it is the No. 11 Utah Utes falling to the No. 18 UCLA Bruins. Even though Utah did trail to UCLA for the majority of the game, they did manage to cut their deficit to 28-25 in the fourth quarter. However, the Bruins were able to pull away for the 42-32 victory.

There was a scare for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, as they actually trailed the Texas Tech Red Raiders 31-23 in the third quarter. The Cowboys were able to avoid an upset (unlike Utah), as they picked up the 41-31 win.

With these scores going final, what could the college football playoff rankings look like?

Here is what the top 15 in the next AP rankings could look like:

  1. Alabama
  2. Georgia
  3. Ohio State
  4. Michigan
  5. Clemson
  6. USC
  7. Tennessee
  8. Oklahoma State
  9. Ole Miss
  10. Penn State
  11. Oregon
  12. Kentucky
  13. NC State
  14. TCU
  15. UCLA

With their victory over Utah, UCLA is now 6-0 on the season, and they should be able to climb into the top 15. As for the Utes, they will probably still remain in the Top 25, in the No. 21-25 range.

Let’s take a look at three of the top four teams that played early on Saturday. The Georgia Bulldogs were able to cruise to an easy 42-10 win over the Auburn Tigers. The Ohio State Buckeyes picked up a 49-20 victory over the Michigan State Spartans. The Michigan Wolverines defeated the Indiana Hoosiers 31-10.

There are teams in the Top 10. The Alabama Crimson Tide take on the Texas A&M Aggies, the Clemson Tigers face the Boston College Eagles, and USC Trojans versus the Washington State Cougars.
