Oklahoma Sooners fans were not happy that the team was trailing the Baylor Bears in Week 10, as evidenced by posts on message boards.

The Oklahoma Sooners got off to a 3-0 start this season under new head coach Brent Venables, but have since lost three of their last five games. But, those two wins have come in the form of a two-game streak after defeating Kansas and Iowa State. They had the chance to make it three victories in a row if they were to beat the Baylor Bears.

That winning streak seemingly reached its end, as the Sooners trailed the Bears 24-21 at halftime and lost 38-35. Let’s just say that Sooners fans were not thrilled with the team’s performance on Saturday, especially if you checked on the message boards.

Oklahoma fans upset after team lost to Baylor

Yeah, those fans were unhappy on their Saturday. An Oklahoma win was not as attainable as they would have liked.

Some of the criticisms were directed toward the defense, who did not fare well against Baylor’s rushing attack. The Bears ran for a total of 283 yards and five touchdowns on 48 carries. That’s right, all of Baylor’s offensive touchdowns were scored through the running game.

As for the Sooners, they were solid on third down, converting on 10-of-15 attempts.

Baylor won the turnover battle, at the expense of Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel. On 34 attempts, Gabriel threw 22 completions for 261 yards and two touchdowns. However, Gabriel threw three interceptions, two of which accounted for 10 points scored by Baylor.

The Sooners will look to get back in the win column next week when they take on the West Virginia Mountaineers.
