Nick Saban is not able to control his emotions on the Alabama sidelines anymore.

With two losses and a huge road game at Ole Miss, things are not going swimmingly for Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide, aight.

While Alabama cannot play for an SEC Championship this season, the Crimson Tide can still win 10 games and get to a New Year’s Six bowl. However, Bryce Young and the Alabama offense done goofed up horrendously on a totally botched fourth-and-1 call. Ole Miss blew that thing up in an instant to force the turnover on downs. The Rebels have largely outplayed the Crimson Tide today.

This is the play that absolutely disgusted Saban to no end from over on the Alabama sidelines.

Here is the face he made telling everything you needed to know about the state of his program.

Should Ole Miss win at home, Lane Kiffin will become the third former Saban assistant to beat him head-to-head, joining Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher and Georgia head coach Kirby Smart.

Nick Saban is totally beside himself after Alabama’s latest on-field debacle

Although Alabama is certainly capable of winning the rest of their games to get to 9-3, that is not good enough for the Crimson Tide’s lofty standard. Furthermore, a 9-3 overall record and a dismal 5-3 SEC mark does not get the Crimson Tide a New Year’s Six Bowl bid. That should be good enough to play someone like Penn State in the Citrus Bowl in Orlando in the early part of January.

At this point of the season, Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, and potentially Ole Miss with a Rebels victory here would, all get NY6 bids over the Crimson Tide. For a program of Alabama’s stature, that is the bare minimum of success. Look. Getting into the College Football Playoff annually is an impossible task, but the Crimson Tide have done that more often than not over the last eight college seasons.

However, we are finally seeing cracks in the foundation of the program. Alabama is struggling mightily on the road of late. The receiving corps is leaving a lot to be desired and the defense is not anything close to championship-caliber. While it would be foolish to say the dynasty is dead at this point, the Crimson Tide are in a tough spot right now. It really depends on how next season goes.

The SEC is a tough conference to play in, but Alabama is in the midst of a swift downward spiral.
